The Sales Consultant builds deep, lasting relationships with customers to increase sales, service quality, and loyalty. Delivering exceptional service requires expertise in products within their department and across the store. Sales Consultants aim to sell at least $1MM annually and are on a full commission, offering unlimited earning potential. Upon reaching $1MM in sales, they gain access to additional clienteling and customer development tools.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Selling across the store and wardrobe to customers from head to toe
  • Developing long-term customer relationships through engagement
  • Cultivating new customers and introducing them to Holt Renfrew
  • Staying informed about fashion and style trends and advising clients accordingly
  • Focusing on customer needs, preferences, and dislikes
  • Demonstrating product and style expertise to meet customer needs
  • Performing floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes, and related sales support tasks
  • Complying with all health & safety policies
  • Ensuring adherence to privacy policies, regulations, and cybersecurity measures
  • Performing additional duties as assigned

The ideal candidate has:

  • A proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Knowledge of wardrobing and styling techniques
  • Ability to build and translate customer relationships into sales; empathetic nature
  • Skill in managing the emotional aspects of sales and connecting with customers
  • Strong collaboration skills within a team environment
  • Entrepreneurial, competitive, self-confident, and self-motivated attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • At least three years of experience in a commission-based sales environment
  • Prior retail sales experience in a luxury setting is preferred

  • Feedback from clients and colleagues
