Job summary

Arterra Wines Canada’s Wine Rack in Welland, Ontario seeks a Wine Merchant to deliver outstanding customer service and share wine education with shoppers. You will handle POS transactions, merchandising, receiving shipments, and restocking while engaging with customers in a friendly, team-oriented setting.

The role invites involvement in local festivals, community events, and ongoing training for product knowledge, with an emphasis on a fun, flexible store culture and rewarding incentives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Smart Serve Certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 21 kg and perform physical duties.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the wine store.
• Perform POS transactions and merchandising tasks such as receiving shipments and replenishment.

• High School or equivalent education is required.
• Smart Serve Certification is required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job include lifting up to 21 kilograms, standing, reaching, bending and climbing ladders.
