Job summary

Wine Rack is hiring a Wine Merchant to deliver exceptional customer service and support in a busy store environment. You will participate in wine education tastings and learn Arterra’s portfolio while working in a fun, team-oriented setting.

Must be enthusiastic, willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and hold a High School diploma with Smart Serve certification. Physical ability to lift and stock as part of daily tasks is required.

• Retail experience is an asset.
• Able to work in a fun, team-oriented store environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle POS transactions and assist customers at the register.
• Perform merchandising tasks and receive shipments.

• Enthusiastically engage and interact with customers
• Perform POS (point of sales transactions) and merchandising tasks, such as receiving shipments and replenishment
• Meet and exceed shift targets
• Participate in community-driven initiatives and festivals.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays 19 years of age or older.
• High School or equivalent education is required.
• Smart Serve Certification is required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job include lifting up to 21 kilograms, standing, reaching, bending and climbing ladders.
