Job summary

Wine Rack in Ottawa, part of Arterra Wines Canada, is seeking a Store Wine Merchant to deliver exceptional customer service, assist with merchandising, and process POS transactions. You’ll learn about Arterra’s award-winning wines through a comprehensive education program and enjoy a fun, flexible store environment.

Requirements include being 19+, High School or equivalent, Smart Serve, and the ability to lift up to 21 kg with availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• High School or equivalent education is required.
• Smart Serve Certification is required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job include lifting up to 21 kilograms, standing, reaching, bending and climbing ladders.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and engage with customers.
• Perform POS transactions and merchandising tasks, such as receiving shipments and replenishment.

Compensation: $17.85/hr
