Job summary

Arterra Wines Canada is seeking a Wine Merchant for Wine Rack in Toronto to deliver exceptional customer experiences and represent a wide Ontario and international wine selection. You will participate in a robust wine education program and support merchandising and stock replenishment daily.

The role involves POS transactions, engaging with customers, and meeting shift targets in a friendly, team-oriented store environment. evenings/weekends/holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Smart Serve certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the Wine Rack store.
• Process POS transactions and manage merchandising tasks (receiving shipments, replenishment).
• Meet and exceed shift targets.
• Engage with customers and participate in community initiatives.

• 19 years of age or older
• High School or equivalent education is required
• Smart Serve Certification is required
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job include lifting up to 21 kilograms, standing, reaching, bending and climbing ladders
