Sleep Country Canada and Silk & Snow welcome you to join our Ottawa-area Sleep Country store as a Sales Associate, working across two iconic Canadian brands at one combined location. You will help customers find the perfect sleep solutions, while contributing to a welcoming, informative shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Sales, Retail and/or Customer Service.

This unique position will allow you to work at aSleep Countrystorefront as well as assist customers at theSilk & Snowstorefront. We provide our associates with continuous learning and development opportunities as well as the tools to help them become true Sleep Experts.

• Based on our national average sales commission & bonus earnings, you have the potential to earn $70,000 per year. (These figures represent historical averages but does not represent a guaranteed minimum income). There are no limits to your earning potential!
• This is a current open full-time industry leading position that offers a base salary pluscompetitive commission as well as monetary bonusesfor meeting monthly targets.

As a Sales Associate you will:

• Engage with customers to identify their needs and wants, promote our quality products and service offerings
• Ensure our stores are always visually appealing through product presentation, replenishment and store housekeeping
• Work together as part of the Sales team to exceed goals and expectations
• Participate in visual directives in accordance with company product launches, including but not limited to setting displays, merchandising products, and maintaining pricing signage
• Be the face of our combined values, with a focus on customer, wellness, transparency and sustainability
• Be responsible for ensuring that the story behind our brand gets communicated to our customers
• Create and curate a comfortable environment for customers to experience our products and learn about our brand

The Qualifications and Experience we like to see:

• Ideally have 1- 3 years of experience in Sales, Retail and/or Customer Service, this isconsidered an asset and not mandatoryas we will invest in the right person
• A positive, optimistic attitude and a strong customer focus
• Be ambitious and willing to commit to continuous education and learning
• Available to work days, evenings and weekends
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to tackle problems on your own
• You are driven to constantly improve yourself and the experience you manage
