Job summary

Sleep Country Canada/Dormez-vous? is hiring a Sales Associate to be at the heart of the customer experience, working across Sleep Country and Silk & Snow stores at a single location. You will be supported with continuous learning and development to become a Sleep Expert.

This full-time role offers base pay plus competitive commissions and bonuses, along with comprehensive benefits, wellness credits, and staff discounts. Training will be provided to help you grow with the company.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Sales, Retail or Customer Service is preferred but not mandatory
• Positive, optimistic attitude and strong customer focus
• Ambitious and willing to commit to continuous education and learning
• Available to work days, evenings and weekends
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to tackle problems independently
• Driven to constantly improve yourself and the customer experience you manage

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to identify needs and promote products and services
• Keep stores visually appealing through product presentation, replenishment and housekeeping
• Collaborate with the Sales team to exceed goals and expectations
• Participate in visual directives and set displays, merchandising and pricing signage
• Represent the brand values with a focus on customer wellness, transparency and sustainability

We’re looking for a Sales Associate to be at the heart of the customer experience with two iconic Canadian brands, Silk & Snow and Sleep Country Canada at one combined location. This unique position will allow you to work at a Sleep Country storefront as well as assist customers at the Silk & Snow storefront. We provide our associates with continuous learning and development opportunities as well as the tools to help them become true Sleep Experts.

• Based on our national average sales commission & bonus earnings, you have the potential to earn $70,000 per year. (These figures represent historical averages but does not represent a guaranteed minimum income). There are no limits to your earning potential!
• This is a current open full-time industry leading position that offers a base salary plus competitive commission as well as monetary bonuses for meeting monthly targets.

As a Sales Associate You Will

• Engage with customers to identify their needs and wants, promote our quality products and service offerings
• Ensure our stores are always visually appealing through product presentation, replenishment and store housekeeping
• Work together as part of the Sales team to exceed goals and expectations
• Participate in visual directives in accordance with company product launches, including but not limited to setting displays, merchandising products, and maintaining pricing signage
• Be the face of our combined values, with a focus on customer, wellness, transparency and sustainability
• Be responsible for ensuring that the story behind our brand gets communicated to our customers
• Create and curate a comfortable environment for customers to experience our products and learn about our brand

The Qualifications And Experience We Like To See

• Ideally have 1- 3 years of experience in Sales, Retail and/or Customer Service, this is considered an asset and not mandatory as we will invest in the right person
