General Function

The Sales Associate creates exceptional value in the lives of patients by delivering outstanding eye care in your neighborhood. Join our team to develop your selling and consultative skills while helping meet team goals.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
  • Consistently achieve sales targets and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
  • Use optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and coatings.
  • Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers find the perfect vision solution.
  • Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
  • Contribute to a positive store environment, fostering professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
  • Maintain the store's appearance, ensuring displays and inventory are clean, attractive, and organized.
  • Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic math skills
  • Willingness to embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
  • Strong sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a fast-changing environment
