Job summary

Roots is seeking an in-store team member in Toronto to help guests find apparel that fits their style while maintaining store standards and handling transactions. You will contribute to merchandising and visual displays, ensuring a clean and welcoming shopping environment.

Ideal candidates will have apparel retail experience, excellent presentation and a customer-first attitude, with strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative spirit that supports team success.

Responsibilities

• Display a "customer comes first" attitude to build and maintain customer loyalty
• Resolve customer issues at store level in a timely, positive manner
• Be a team player contributing to store success
• Perform POS transactions and merchandising tasks (receiving shipments, replenishment, price markdowns, fitting room upkeep)
• Stay current on product and service updates
• Maintain store visuals and housekeeping per company standards
• Adhere to Loss Prevention policies
