Job summary

Staples Canada in Saint-Leonard, NB is seeking a friendly Retail Associate to assist customers, drive sales across furniture, technology and supplies, and help keep the store running smoothly. You will deliver excellent service, operate the POS, and collaborate with store leaders to meet sales and margin goals while upholding safety and signage standards.

This role suits candidates with 3 months to 1 year of retail experience who communicate well and enjoy teamwork.

Specifically, you will

• Engage with and sell to all our customers by offering tailored products and services using all tools and techniques available in our selling model to anticipate and meet future customer needs.
• Handle transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including shipping transactions and marketing tools to convert customers.
• Calmly de-escalate and assist in complex customer situations to ensure their concerns are addressed effectively or refer to a manager/supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment by performing tasks like dusting, front-facing products, and ensuring demo units are clean and functional.
