Job summary

Staples Canada is seeking a retail associate to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales across furniture, technology, and supplies. You will engage customers, operate the POS system, and help maintain store standards and safety practices.

Ideal candidates bring 3 months to 1 year in retail, strong communication, and teamwork skills, and are ready to work in a fast-paced store environment with opportunities for growth and employee benefits.

Specifically, you will

• Engage with and sell to all our customers by offering tailored products and services using all tools and techniques available in our selling model to anticipate and meet future customer needs.
• Handle transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including shipping transactions and marketing tools to convert customers.
• Calmly de-escalate and assist in complex customer situations to ensure their concerns are addressed effectively or refer to a manager/supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment by performing tasks like dusting, front-facing products, and ensuring demo units are clean and functional.
