Sales Consultant

DeWildt Marine and Powersports is looking for career-minded individuals with a passion for the Marine and Powersports industry. The Marine and Powersports Sales Consultant will sell our products by understanding and demonstrating features and benefits, developing, and qualifying clientele, and closing sales.

DeWildt Marine and Powersports offers competitive salary packages, a positive work environment, and a large customer base from a well-established dealership.

Job Duties
  1. Understand the products we sell by studying features and benefits, comparing, and contrasting competitive models.
  2. Develop new customers, maintain relationships with previous customers, respond to inquiries by phone, online, and in person, and promote sales campaigns and promotions.
  3. Qualify buyers by understanding their requirements and interests, and match them to various models.
  4. Demonstrate vehicles by explaining features, benefits, equipment, and warranties.
  5. Close sales by overcoming objections, asking for the sale, negotiating price, completing sales contracts, discussing credit terms, providing financial information for leasing and financing, collecting payments, and providing information regarding service and warranty. Ensure full product presentation on delivery.
  6. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and completing required Yamaha, Starcraft training, and OMVIC certification.
Job Details
  • Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
  • Salary and Commissions: $70,000.00 - $150,000++ per year
  • Benefits: Insurance, Dental, and Health Care
  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Saturdays, Closed Sundays
Experience & Requirements
  • Marine - Powersports experience preferred (2 years), but training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • OMVIC license required.
