Job summary

IRIS The Visual Group in Fredericton, NB is seeking a Sales Associate to assist patients with eyewear choices, manage frame adjustments, and support a busy optical clinic. The role offers front-line customer service, appointment coordination, and processing of insurance and payments.

Responsibilities

• Advising patients about proper frame choices and appropriate lens options
• Performing frame adjustments and repairs
• Preparing exam rooms, cleaning, and setting up equipment
• Conducting pre-testing procedures using diagnostic equipment
• Greeting patients in a warm and courteous way
• Responding to large volume of phone calls, emails, and faxes
• Scheduling, cancelling, and rescheduling examinations and appointments
• Collecting contact and health information, and answering patient questions efficiently
• Invoicing patients and using point of sale machine
• Submitting insurance payments for patients
• Scanning hard files
