IRIS, The Visual Group in Fredericton, NB is hiring a Sales Associate to help patients choose frames and lenses, perform adjustments, and prepare exam rooms. You’ll handle high-volume calls, schedule exams, and support billing and insurance processing.

This full-time role offers ongoing training, friendly team environment, and benefits through IRIS's extensive eyewear network; experience in optical sales is a plus, but customer service focus and organized work style win the day.

Responsibilities

• Advising patients about proper frame choices and appropriate lens options
• Performing frame adjustments and repairs
• Preparing exam rooms, cleaning, and setting up equipment
• Conducting pre-testing procedures using diagnostic equipment
• Greeting patients in a warm and courteous way
• Responding to large volume of phone calls, emails, and faxes
• Scheduling, cancelling, and rescheduling examinations and appointments
• Collecting contact and health information, and answering patient questions efficiently
• Invoicing patients and using point of sale machine
• Submitting insurance payments for patients
• Scanning hard files
