Job summary

QE Home in Burnaby, BC is seeking a friendly Sales Associate to welcome guests and guide them through our bedding and home décor collections. You will help guests find pieces that make their space feel complete, while maintaining a clean, inviting store environment.

We value guest service, product knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic retail setting. This role supports daily store operations and offers benefits for qualified hours and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail or guest service experience.
• Passion for people, home décor, and helping guests find what they love.
• Open availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, attentive service to every guest who enters the store.
• Build connections by listening, asking questions, and making thoughtful product recommendations.
• Maintain merchandising and visual standards to create a welcoming environment.
• Assist with daily store operations, including opening/closing, restocking, and processing transactions.
• Stay informed about product features, benefits, and promotions.
• Collaborate with team to meet sales goals and foster a supportive atmosphere.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Providingexceptional, personalized service to everyguestwho walks through the door.
• Buildingmeaningful connections by listening, asking questions, and offering thoughtful product recommendations.
• Maintainingmerchandising and visual standards to ensure a clean, welcoming environment.
• Assistingwith daily store operations, including opening and closing, restocking, and processing transactions.

The Physical Side of the Role

• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to shift, push, reach, stretch, twist, bend, pull or maneuver weight over 50 lbs. to fold, stock and build or display merchandise. In addition, you may be required to change beds including moving a mattress to put on a bed skirt.
• Comfortable climbingladders formerchandising and stock.
