Job summary

Atlantic Beef Products Inc. seeks a Sales Associate for our Albany, PEI facility on a full-time, onsite schedule. You will support daily sales and customer service, manage orders, and collaborate with the sales/marketing team to grow our branded beef products.

The role requires 1+ year of sales/marketing experience in relevant sectors, a college diploma, and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and email. Bilingualism is an asset, and provincial travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales and marketing experience in food service, grocery retail, or commercial meat sales.
• College diploma in business, accounting, marketing, office administration, or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and email.
• Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
• Ability to work with changing priorities with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Legally allowed to work in Canada for any employer.

Responsibilities

• Manage, enhance, and build upon existing customer relationships.
• Develop new customer relationships.
• Assist with day-to-day sales and customer service duties (order placement and shipping docs).
• Coordinate with management to reach targets and exceed them.
• Assist Sales team with projects as needed.
• Complete credit notes and book trucks.
• Perform freight analysis and coordinate order sizes.

Sales Associate

Hours - Fulltime (40 hours per week)

Location: Albany, PE (Onsite)

Pay: $50,000 - $55,000/year

As we continue to grow our business and to open new markets for our products, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to add to our sales department. This position is based in Albany PEI at our production facility and will work with the sales and marketing team and reporting to Director of Sales. In this role the Sales Associate will coordinate and streamline existing sales channels while maximizing profitability levels and utilizations rates for our branded beef.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage/enhance/build upon existing customer relationships.
• Develop new customer relationships.
• Assist with day-to-day sales and customer service duties with order placement and shipping documentation.
• Working closely with our management team to ensure that company targets are reached and exceeded.
• Assisting Sales team with projects as needed.
• Completing Credit notes.
• Booking Trucks.
• Freight analysis.
• Ability to coordinate order size to trucks.
• Demonstrate ongoing contact with all accounts to meet their needs on products and programs.
• May require to work weekends and evenings.
• Willing to travel outside province for marketing, tradeshows, and other sales related activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales and marketing experience in food service or grocery retail or commercial meat sales is required.
• College diploma in business, accounting, marketing, office administration, and/or equivalent experience.
• Must possess good computer skills including MS Word, Email and EXCEL.
• Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset but not required.
• Work effectively in an environment where priorities change constantly with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Work collaboratively with other departments.
• Must be legally allowed to work in Canada for any employer.
