Job summary

Sobeys Inc. is hiring a Meat Supervisor to lead and develop a friendly, well-trained team in the Delta meat department. You will coach staff, ensure product quality and proper rotation, and serve as the go-to person when the Department Manager is away.

You’ll supervise daily operations, uphold food safety standards, manage inventory, and support merchandising to maximize sales while minimizing waste. A High School Diploma and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are required.

The Meat Supervisor is responsible to ensure a superior customer service experience by coaching, and developing friendly, well-trained staff. The Supervisor will supervise the department and staff and act as the go to person in the absence of the Department Manager and Assistant. The Supervisor will foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.
