Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. is seeking a Sales and Operations Management Trainee in Scarborough, ON. The role combines sales, operations, and customer service with mentoring to build a solid foundation in multiple business areas.

You will participate in training across sales, operations, finance, and technology, collaborate with a high-energy team, and have advancement opportunities across hundreds of locations nationwide. Location: Scarborough.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferred Business or Marketing focus
• Class G driver’s license required and ability to drive Penske vehicles including 26’ box truck
• Ability to travel to the US for training
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Internship or related customer-facing/sales experience preferred
• Results oriented with good time management and attention to detail
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
• Willingness to travel within the district and work at the required location

Responsibilities

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions for local and national accounts (Fortune 500 clients)
• Manage a large fleet of vehicles to balance productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction
• Generate new business leads and nurture existing customer relationships
• Ensure high customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
• Contribute to other projects as assigned by the supervisor

Location: 80 Production Dr, Scarborough ON

Pay rate: $26.25/ hr

Responsibilities:

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions to local and national accounts - including many of the Fortune 500.
• Manage our large inventory of world class and nationally recognized vehicles, balancing fleet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced and dynamic workspace
• Generate new business leads as well as foster existing customer relationships
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
• Other projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferred concentration in Business or Marketing
• A valid Class G driver’s license is required, as is the ability and willingness to drive our Penske vehicles, including a 26’ box truck
• Ability to travel to the US for training
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Internship or related work experience in a customer facing or sales role preferred
• Results oriented, attention to detail and good time management skills
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary within the district (customers yards, close geographical area and training sites), work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a reference check.
