Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. is seeking a Sales and Operations Management Trainee in Scarborough, ON.

You will use your degree to run a business, swiftly solve problems for customers, and gain exposure to sales, operations, finance, and technology in a fast-paced setting. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing.
• Valid Class G driver’s license required.
• Ability and willingness to drive Penske vehicles, including a 26’ box truck.
• Ability to travel to the US for training.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Internship or related sales/customer-facing experience preferred.
• Results oriented with attention to detail and time management.
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions to local and national accounts (Fortune 500).
• Manage a large inventory of vehicles and balance fleet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Generate new business leads and strengthen existing customer relationships.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
• Take on additional projects as directed by the supervisor.

Location: 80 Production Dr, Scarborough ON

Pay rate: $26.25/ hr

Responsibilities:

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions to local and national accounts - including many of the Fortune 500.
• Manage our large inventory of world class and nationally recognized vehicles, balancing fleet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced and dynamic workspace
• Generate new business leads as well as foster existing customer relationships
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
• Other projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferred concentration in Business or Marketing
• A valid Class G driver’s license is required, as is the ability and willingness to drive our Penske vehicles, including a 26’ box truck
• Ability to travel to the US for training
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Internship or related work experience in a customer facing or sales role preferred
• Results oriented, attention to detail and good time management skills
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary within the district (customers yards, close geographical area and training sites), work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a reference check.
