Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. seeks a Sales and Operations Management Trainee to run a business, solve problems quickly, and grow across sales, operations, finance, and service. You’ll receive training and mentoring, work with a fast-paced team, and progress toward management roles across our nationwide locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferred focus in Business or Marketing.
• Valid driver's license (Class G) required and ability to drive Penske vehicles.
• Willingness to travel to the US for training and other sites as needed.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in customer-facing or sales roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions for local and national accounts.
• Manage large fleet inventory balancing productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Generate new business leads and foster existing customer relationships.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
• Support other projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions to local and national accounts - including many of the Fortune 500.
• Manage our large inventory of world class and nationally recognized vehicles, balancing fleet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced and dynamic workspace
• Generate new business leads as well as foster existing customer relationships
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
• Other projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferred concentration in Business or Marketing
• A valid Class G driver’s license is required, as is the ability and willingness to drive our Penske vehicles, including a 26’ box truck
• Ability to travel to the US for Training
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Internship or related work experience in a customer facing or sales role preferred
• Results oriented, attention to detail and good time management skills
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary within the district (customers yards, close geographical area and training sites), work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a reference check.
