Job summary

1-800-GOT-JUNK? is growing and seeking positive, physically fit people to join our Truck Teams in Whites Lake, Nova Scotia. The role covers driving, loading, and customer service with flexible shifts 7 days a week from 7:30 am to 3 pm, typically 8–12 hours per shift.

Starting pay is $18/hour plus tips (cash daily, card tips on every paycheck) and monthly bonuses. Co-pay benefits begin after the first year as the team delivers exceptional service while keeping safety a priority.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (Class 5 or better).
• Physically able to lift 50lbs+ repeatedly.
• Positive, friendly attitude and communication skills.
• Previous customer service, sales, and/or driving experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the commercial vehicle at the start of each shift.
• Visit customers' homes in our blue trucks and remove unwanted items.
• Dispose of items responsibly via recycling, donation and waste facilities.

Truck Team Member - General Labor / Customer Service / Driver

• Hiring Immediately for Full-Time & Part-Time. Shift start times can vary based on appointments booked ranging from 7:30 am to 3 pm and are typically 8-12hrs. We operate 7-days a week.
• Starting pay:$18/hour plus tips (cash tips daily ,card tips on every paycheck) and performance bonuses (paid monthly). Average Total pay has been $25/Hour with Tips and Bonuses.
• We offer co-pay benefits after 1st year.

About the position:

• Each shift starts with a commercial vehicle inspection,
• You'll head out in our shiny blue trucks to visit customers' homes and properties and take away their unwanted items while leaving smiles on their faces
• You'll dispose of items responsibly through various recycling, donating and waste management facilities

About you:

• A valid driver's license(Class 5 or better)
• A safe, responsible driver with a clean driving record (past 3 years)
• A positive, friendly attitude & good written and verbal communication skills
• Physically able to lift 50lbs+ repeatedly
• Previous customer service, sales, physical labor, and/or driving experience a plus!
