Job description

We are looking for a driven, customer-focused, and adaptable sales professional with a passion for design and a desire to join a high-performing team. As a Business Development Manager reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you'll thrive on achieving sales success while managing a dynamic territory. This role requires independence and proactive client management, primarily on the road. The key focus areas include:

  • Business Development – increasing revenue for the territory
  • Key Account Management – developing and maintaining relationships between the company and Kitchen & Bath Retailers, Designers, Contractors, and Fabricators
  • Developing Strategy – collaborating with peers and management to improve approaches and increase market share

Territory: North Shore of Montreal

Key Responsibilities:
Fabricator Channel
  • Business Development & Key Account Management – demand creation and customer relationship management in the fabricator market
  • Regularly engaging with the fabricator sector to strengthen existing relationships and identify new opportunities
  • Strategy development to enhance market approaches and increase Caesarstone’s market share
  • Introducing new products to the market
  • Managing the Fabricator channel Fact Base, including Share of Shelf (SOS), Share of Wallet (SOW), and market intelligence
  • Inventory management and daily review of open order reports
  • Handling RMA, credit rebills, warranty issues, and submitting retail quotes
  • Monitoring sales and invoicing via Power BI
A&D / K&B Channel
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with accounts through visits and product knowledge sessions
  • Executing sales programs and promotional activities
  • Providing samples and marketing materials
  • Proactively addressing customer issues and keeping management informed
  • Regular communication with the Regional Sales Manager and using CRM systems effectively
Builder Channel
  • Managing relationships within the builder sector to increase Share of Shelf and product visibility
  • Managing market insights and tender timelines
  • Supporting proposals and maintaining customer and project lists
Key Relationships:
  • Channel customers (A&D, Builder, K&B)
  • Order Desk Reps, Fabricator Team, Regional Manager, and other team members
  • External contacts such as owners and suppliers
Requirements:
  • University degree in business or related field
  • Experience in outside sales; role involves 100% travel
  • Proven results in brand building and client relationship management
  • Dependability, teamwork, and independence
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Proficiency with IT systems
Working Conditions:
  • Extensive daily travel within the territory
  • Ability to conduct presentations and lift items up to 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to variable weather conditions

Base salary: $60,000 - $70,000. The candidate should demonstrate leadership, initiative, creativity, self-motivation, and the ability to multitask and complete initiatives independently.
