Job summary

A leading manufacturer and distributor of food ingredients is seeking an experienced Sales Professional to expand their Bakery and Dairy market in Quebec and Eastern Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong B2B sales background in the food industry and the ability to build relationships with key accounts. This role involves managing sales forecasts, participating in trade shows, and coordinating with various internal teams. Candidates must reside in the greater Montreal area and have a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in B2B sales experience in Food Industry.
  • Experience selling into industrial food processors is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop food manufacturing clients in Bakery and Dairy space.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with Marketing, Inventory, and Operations.

Job description

Please do not apply if you don't have a food industry background. Malabar is a rapidly growing Manufacturer and Distributor of food ingredients into the North American Food industry. We are searching for a well networked and experienced Sales Professional to build out the Bakery, & Dairy market space in Quebec and Eastern Canada. You will focus on building and developing food manufacturing clients in the Bakery and Dairy space.# Experience selling into industrial food processors (B2B) along with technical sales abilities when it comes to food ingredients is a MANDATORY QUALIFICATION. # You must live in the greater Montreal area, and hold a valid drivers license. # You must have room for home office space Operate as the primary point of contact for key account stakeholders Develop a trusted advisory relationship with accounts, customer stakeholders and internal partners Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts Key account planning and management responsibilities Actively participate in trade shows, training seminars, and conventions. Coordinate sales efforts with Marketing, Inventory, and Operations Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Food Industry ~2+ years in B2B sales experience in Food Industry ~ Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)~ Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus ~ Valid Drivers License
