Position Title: Sales Account Executive

CCTV Direct is hiring a Sales Account Representative in Winnipeg who will be responsible for increasing market share, uncovering new opportunities, and driving sales that foster long-term customer relationships. As we expand into Western Canada and prepare to open our newest location in Winnipeg, we seek a Sales Account Executive to lead sales development and operations in this new branch.

The Role

As the Sales Account Executive for Western Canada, you will be the primary liaison for our clients, driving new business development. This role requires strong relationship management skills to cultivate positive partnerships with clients, distributors, and other stakeholders. Positioned in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, this strategic role offers growth opportunities and potential for managerial advancement as CCTV Direct expands.

Reporting

The Sales Account Executive will report directly to the President and may collaborate with our Sales Account Manager in Quebec on projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Proactively gather market intelligence and identify growth opportunities.
  2. Increase market share through sales efforts to convert potential customers.
  3. Maintain and develop new customer relationships within the CCTV, Security, Access Control, and Networking industries.
  4. Qualify prospects based on company criteria for ideal customers and sales potential.
  5. Set and track sales projections for the fiscal year.
Other Responsibilities

As the company grows, the role may involve assisting in the opening and leadership of the Winnipeg CCTV Branch.

Qualifications
  1. Experience in a sales role or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience in a B2B sales environment.
  3. Initiative, drive, and enthusiasm.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Experience in the security industry is a definite asset.
Key Competencies
  1. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  2. Strong understanding of CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems.
  3. Sales experience in the security industry is advantageous.
  4. Strong work ethic and high ethical standards.
  5. Experience working in retail office supply stores is a plus.
