Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a SAGD Construction Manager to lead site-wide construction delivery for above-ground pipelines, central facilities, and well pads in Alberta. You will set execution plans, resource needs, safety and quality standards, and ensure cost, schedule, and turnover targets are met.

You will direct multiple site Superintendents and align with client policies and the project manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• Minimum 10 years in heavy industrial construction with Superintendent/Construction Manager roles.
• Experience leading SAGD, oil sands or gas plant site construction, brownfield tie-ins.
• CSTS-20 certification.
• Leadership for Safety Excellence (LSE).
• Legislative Awareness.
• First Aid with AED.
• Defensive Driving.
• H2S Alive.
• Ground Disturbance Level II.
• PMP or Gold Seal Certification is an asset.
• NCSO or CSO designation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead project start-up activities; planning, requisitions, client approvals.
• Develop detailed Project Construction Execution Plans including tie-ins.
• Lead schedule development and integrate dates into field sequence.
• Own the project activity risk matrix and drive mitigation.
• Manage site manpower, equipment and camp plan; forecast ramp-up.
• Oversee mobilization/demobilization plans and site interface with client.
• Direct Superintendents in piping, structural, mechanical, electrical, and more.
• Set safety agenda; chair weekly site safety meetings.
• Review quality and HSE deliverables; drive continuous improvement.
