Job summary

Richelieu Hardware Canada Limited in Kitchener, ON, is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to oversee the warehouse equipment fleet and help manage the Health & Safety program at Onward. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will coordinate maintenance, schedule equipment certifications, and serve as the central point for machine issues.

The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and willingness to train in Health and Safety procedures, including

Qualifications

• Knowledge of or experience with warehouse machinery including watering of batteries and inspections.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Willing to be trained in Health and Safety procedures and become First Aid certified.
• Able to work on the Day Shift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the warehouse equipment fleet, including daily watering of equipment batteries and maintenance scheduling.
• Coordinate maintenance and annual equipment certifications; act as central point for machine issues.
• Assist in safety program administration and monitoring of health and safety compliance.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and support near-miss investigations and incident tracking.
• Maintain safety training records and coordinate safety communications with management.
