A fantastic full-time custodian role has arisen for a family estate due to the retirement of the current Estate Manager in 2026.
The estate comprises let grazing and fell land, a large residential property, guesthouse, 4 holiday lets, and a café business.
The role will suit someone who is practical, responsible, and comfortable working for a family, demonstrating integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness. As part of a small team, you will report directly to the owners and the Director of the Family Office. Building relationships with local tradespeople and representing the owner in managing regular operations, capital projects, and holiday lets are key responsibilities.
Responsibilities include managing a high-tech house, swimming pool, spring water and emergency power systems, renewable energy equipment, and working within budgets with reasonable IT skills. A competitive salary is available, with the possibility of accommodation.
