Qualifications

• Must be eligible for licensure with CPSA as General Practitioner or Family Medicine.
• Experience in full-scope general practice, including low-risk obstetrics, in the past 1–2 years.
• Independent Emergency Room and Acute Care Hospital experience in a rural setting within the past 1–2 years.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a full-time Rural Emergency Medicine practice in Brooks.
• Engage in 8–12 hour shifts per month or equivalent commensurate shifts.
• Reside in Brooks as primary residence.
• Collaborate with peers and care team as part of ZCD Rural Medicine at Brooks Health Centre.
• Participate in quality improvement programs and consider hospitalist and obstetrics support as needed.
