Job summary

Alberta Health Services in Brooks, Alberta, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to provide high-quality, patient-centred care in a fast-paced rural setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
• ACLS required.
• 1-2 years recent acute care nursing experience.
• Non-violent Crisis Intervention.
• CTAS and TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients and families.
• Practice with patient and family centred care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
