Job summary

Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a Program Development Educator to support education across multi-site rural facilities within a defined geographic area. This role collaborates with leaders to deliver education programs in long-term care, acute care, and home care.

Under the PHC Manager, the PDE applies adult learning principles to education, research, and quality client-centered care, driving effective training and staff development across programs.

Qualifications

• BScN and CRNS registration required.
• 3 years of clinical experience in the past 5 years.
• Experience teaching adults, facilitating group activities, and leading programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide education services across long-term care, acute care and home care in the designated area.
• Plan, implement and evaluate education activities and programs.
• Lead adult learning sessions and collaborate with PHC managers.
• Support care staff with knowledge translation and research findings.
• Utilize electronic health record systems (e.g., MDS) in education efforts.
