Job summary

Elanco, a global leader in animal health, is seeking a Sales Representative based in Alberta to drive sales and profitability across our ruminant portfolio. You will cultivate long-term partnerships with producers, veterinarians and feed-channel partners, spending about 60% of your time with customers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience, 2+ years in Animal Health or Animal Nutrition, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or technical field or equivalent sales experience.
• 2+ years of sales experience in Animal Health or Animal Nutrition, or 5+ years in Agricultural Science.
• Fluent English and computer proficiency including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales, profitability and market-share objectives across the assigned territory and designated key accounts.
• Build trusted customer relationships through CVS and SAM, developing account plans and sales forecasts.
• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of Elanco’s ruminant portfolio and communicate relevant product and market information.
• Analyse customer, industry and market insights to identify business opportunities and support growth.
• Deliver meetings, trainings, seminars and value-added services; maintain CRM data and report adverse events.
