Job summary

WQS Group of Companies is seeking an experienced RT2 NDT Technician for its team in Alberta. The role targets candidates with CGSB RT2 certification, ideally multi-ticketed, who are local to Edmonton or Fort McMurray and committed to safety-first work practices.

Applicants should hold First Aid and Confined Space certifications if possible, possess a valid driver’s license, and be prepared for a flexible shift schedule within a safety-conscious environment.

WQS NDT will be giving away one brand-new vehicle to an eligible WQS NDT employee. Employees who commit to and complete their entire Turnaround assignment may have the opportunity to qualify for the draw.

WQS Non-Destructive Testing (“WQS NDT”) is actively recruiting for an experienced, proficient, RT2 Technician (preferably multi-ticketed) to join the WQS NDT Team.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • CGSB Certified RT2 NDT Technician. Preference will be given to multi-ticketed CGSB technicians.
  • Candidates local to Edmonton, Alberta or Fort McMurray, Alberta preferred.
  • Must be Fit for Duty at all times and be able to comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace which includes alcohol and drug testing.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and flexible work schedule.
  • Valid driver\'s license with a 3-year driver abstract, First Aid & Confined Space Certification is an asset.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude is a must.
  • Demonstrate high standards of safety and align with best-in-class company culture.
