Job summary

WQS Non-Destructive Testing (WQS NDT) is seeking experienced CGSB technicians to support the Fall 2026 Turnaround projects in Central and Northern Alberta. Anticipated duration from September 2026 to October 2026, with flights and camp accommodations provided.

Eligible candidates must hold CGSB multi-ticket status, be fit for duty, and possess valid driver’s license, First Aid and Confined Space certifications.

Qualifications

• Multi-ticket CGSB certification and proven field experience.
• Must be fit for duty and able to pass safety/drug testing.
• Valid driver’s license with 3-year abstract; First Aid and Confined Space certs are assets.
• Solid technical skills and proven NDT proficiency.
• Commitment to safety and quality in a turnaround environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Fall 2026 Turnaround projects in Central and Northern Alberta as CGSB NDT technicians.
• Uphold high safety standards and quality control during on-site inspections.

WQS NDT will be giving away one brand-new vehicle to an eligible WQS NDT employee.

Employees who commit to and complete their entire Turnaround assignment may have the opportunity to qualify for the draw. Official contest rules and eligibility details will be provided to eligible participants.

WQS Non-Destructive Testing (WQS NDT) is currently recruiting experienced, proficient, CGSB certified Technicians for Fall 2026 Turnaround scopes. Turnaround employment opportunities are available in both Central Alberta and Northern Alberta. Successful candidates may have the opportunity to join their local WQS NDT Call-Out team afterwards.

Anticipated Duration: September 2026 - October 2026

Additional Information: Flights and Camp accommodations are company provided.

What You Will Bring

• Multi-ticketed CGSB Technicians. Preference will be given to multi-ticketed technicians, however we encourage all interested CGSB technicians to apply.


• Must be Fit for Duty at all times and be able to comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace which includes alcohol and drug testing.


• Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver abstract, First Aid & Confined Space Certification is an asset.


• Solid technical skills and proven track record as a proficient NDT technician


• Strong work ethic and positive attitude is a must.
