Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, is recruiting a Registered Practical Nurse for the new Withdrawal Management Service (WMS). You will work within an inter-professional team to coordinate medical aspects of withdrawal and support clients and families.

The role requires evenings and weekend shifts, a focus on quality, harm-reduction approaches, and collaboration with RNs, NPs, counselors, and social workers to develop and implement care plans.

Qualificações

• Registered Practical Nurse with current registration in Ontario.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience with adults in community/hospital settings.
• Experience or interest in substance use/addiction care preferred.
• Training in harm reduction and related therapies is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate health and medical aspects of withdrawal under RN/NP oversight.
• Work evenings and weekends, with back-up vacation coverage as needed.
• Collaborate with Withdrawal Management Counsellors, RNs/NPs, social workers and others to deliver client-centered care.
