Job summary

COGIR Real Estate is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to provide patient-centered nursing care in our senior living residences. You will contribute to care planning, documentation, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality resident care.

Applicants should hold current RPN registration, have strong clinical knowledge, and be comfortable working with seniors and unregulated care staff. On-site roles offer growth opportunities and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse in the applicable province.
• Experience working with seniors and with unregulated care providers preferred.
• Education and experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, community/complex/long term care is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care in accordance with provincial standards.
• Work with the multi-disciplinary team to build trusted relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Evaluate and update care plans and documentation.
• Teach, delegate and supervise unregulated care providers with coaching and mentorship.
