SurveyMonkey is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse for a Temporary Regular Part Time role in Chatham-Kent, Ontario. The incumbent will work in Medicine, CKHA, on a medical unit, delivering comprehensive nursing care to adult patients and supporting palliative and geriatric needs.

Requirements include current RPN Certification, BCLS, and at least two years in hospital medical nursing, with documented experience in blood administration, IV therapy, medication administration, and physician order

Competenze

• Current Certification of Competence as a Registered Practical Nurse with the Ontario College of Nurses.
• Current BCLS certification.
• 2 years recent hospital nursing experience on a medical unit.
• Palliative Care and Geriatric experience.
• Practice level consistent with the full scope of practice as outlined by the College of Nurses of Ontario, which includes but is not limited to:
• Evidence of the successful, administration and management of blood & blood products
• Evidence of the successful completion and/or practice in processing physician orders, administration of oral, subcutaneous, IM, suppository, aerosol and IV medications, venipuncture and IV initiation and management
• Demonstrated adherence to the expectations of nursing practice at CKHA
