As an RPN in the Medicine or Surgical Department, you will play a vital role in the delivery of high-quality patient care and will have the opportunity to work in highly acute clinical areas throughout the hospital as an interprofessional team member in the provisdion of care. All new hires are are enrolled in a comprehensive onboarding and training plan that incorporates both theory and practical learning on the job, supported by our Clinical Learning Specialists who will ensure your individual practice development needs are assessed and incorpaoarted into our cororate learning program.

Within this role the Registered Practical Nurse is accountable for contributing to the delivery of the Kingston Health Sciences Centre strategy. As an employee, one must demonstrate an awareness of and be responsible for actively promoting and supporting patient and family centered engagement and care in all we do.
