Job summary

St. Joe's is hiring a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for the Reactivation Care Centre Dundas. This temporary fixed-term full-time position supports a short-stay rehabilitation unit, with a 15-month contract and a daily schedule including days and nights.

The RPN will provide care, assessment, and collaboration with RNs to ensure safe, effective rehabilitation and discharge planning for older adults and cognitively impaired patients. BCLS/HCP and Ontario RN registration are required.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Education as PN diploma/certificate with IV medication administration.
• BCLS/HCP certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and health team.
• Ability to set priorities and organize care.
• Familiar with patient information systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to promote health and assess care needs.
