Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Practical Nurse’s Program.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.
• Ontario RPN registration as required by provincial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and person‑centered nursing care within the RPN scope of practice per care plans and standards.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately; document and report client responses and changes.
• Support planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans with clients, families, and the team.
• Maintain complete clinical documentation using electronic health records and medication administration records.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, families, physicians, and team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in staff orientation, mentoring, education, and performance feedback as assigned by nursing leadership.
• Promote infection prevention, health and safety, and emergency protocols.
