The Salvation Army in Ontario is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to deliver safe, person-centered care under the direction of the Director of Care and RN. The RPN will participate in care planning, document clinical information, and support infection prevention and safety protocols.

You will coordinate with PSWs and the interdisciplinary team, mentor junior staff, and maintain compliance with Ministry of Health requirements while upholding compassionate, client-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Practical Nurse’s Program.
• Current certification in First Aid & CPR.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure under provincial regulations.
• Minimum three years of related nursing experience.

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe, effective, and person-centered nursing care.
• Administer medications and document patient responses.
• Support development, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
• Maintain clinical documentation in EHRs and MARs.
• Coordinate with PSWs and interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Uphold OH&S standards and infection prevention practices.
• Mentor and support staff during orientation and training.
