Job summary

Schlumberger Canada Limited is seeking an Offshore Wireline or Coil Tubing Operator based in St. John’s, Newfoundland. You will deliver safe, efficient services to customers, prepare equipment for operations, and support field crews in pre-job activities.

The role requires a high school diploma, wireline and coil tubing experience, and legal eligibility to work in Canada. You will collaborate with teams, observe HSE standards, and maintain equipment and documentation to ensure reliable service

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma.
• Local candidates preferred.
• 2+ years' experience as skilled operator or helper in open hole and cased hole wireline.
• Wireline experience required.
• 2+ years' experience as coil tubing operator or helper.
• Must be legally able to work in Canada without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
• Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.
• Maintain good, safe working order of equipment according to standards, reporting problems or deviations.
• Ensure individual and crew work safety.
• Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times.
• Operate the equipment according to competency level and job requirement.
• Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
• Maintain the required safety training.
• Complete necessary documentation, reports, and logs accurately and timely

The Offshore Wireline or Coil Tubing Operator located in St. Johns, Newfoundland is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable product, services, and delivery to customers. The Operator identifies opportunities to improve service delivery and assists field and maintenance crews with preparing equipment for operations.
