Route Service Manager

UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Manager to join our team! The Route Service Manager will recruit and lead a team of Route Service Supervisors and Route Service Representatives who deliver to multiple customers daily, ranging from small family-owned businesses to major corporate locations. The ideal candidate will drive customer satisfaction, account growth, and profitability for their location.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Oversee recruiting, training, and development of Route Service Representatives and Supervisors.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and enhance team achievement in customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with location management to provide excellent customer service and product programs.
  • Negotiate customer contract renewals.
Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • An individual who is business savvy and enjoys finding innovative ways to increase profit and customer satisfaction.
  • A results-driven relationship manager who is proactive and supportive of their team and customers.
  • Someone who enjoys working with and developing their team of Route Service Representatives and Supervisors.
  • Individuals driving personal vehicles for business purposes must meet minimum auto insurance requirements.
  • High School Diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle various customer situations.
  • Ability to negotiate, train, coach, and lead.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Valid non-commercial driver’s license in the state of residence.
  • Must meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
