Market Service Manager

UniFirst is seeking a Market Service Manager to join our team! The Market Service Manager will oversee all operational aspects of the service department to ensure our ability to keep Customers for Life. They will recruit and lead a team of Route Service Managers, Supervisors, and Representatives who deliver to multiple customers daily, ranging from small family-owned businesses to major corporate locations. The ideal candidate will drive customer satisfaction, account growth, and profitability for their location.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Oversee recruitment, training, and development of Route Service Representatives and Supervisors.
  2. Build strong customer relationships and elevate your team’s customer satisfaction levels.
  3. Collaborate with the location management team to deliver excellent customer service and product programs.
  4. Negotiate customer contract renewals.

Qualifications

  • Business-savvy individual who enjoys innovative ways to increase profit and customer satisfaction.
  • Results-driven, relationship manager who is willing to support team and customer needs.
  • Enjoys working with and developing your team of Route Service Representatives and Managers.
  • Must meet auto insurance requirements if using personal vehicle for business.
  • High School Diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, coaching, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum age: 21 years.
  • Valid non-commercial driver’s license.
  • Must meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
