Job summary

Kenn Borek Air Ltd. is seeking apprentice engineers to support our fleet across multiple bases, including Calgary. The role involves assisting in aircraft maintenance, parts inspection and certification, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will join rotational teams and gain hands-on experience with DC-3s, Twin Otters, and Beechcraft models. Successful candidates will have AME program credentials or recent graduation, exhibit strong teamwork and communication, and be able to obtain Transport

Qualifications

  • Registration or recent graduation from an AME Program.
  • Customer focus with ability to work alone and in a team.
  • Good communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and performing aircraft maintenance per procedures.
  • Ensure replacement parts are inspected and certified before installation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and company procedures.
  • Organize and maintain work area and hangar.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Description

NO REQUIREMENT FOR RELOCATION

The KBA Maintenance team is currently seeking ApprenticeEngineers to support our fleet of DC-3’s, Twin Otters and Beechcraft 200/1900D at our operating bases in Resolute Bay, Iqaluit, Inuvik, and Calgary.

Reporting to the an ACA Engineer - your role includes:

  • Assistance in planning and performing aircraft maintenance in accordance with published procedures
  • Ensuring that all replacement parts are inspected and properly certified prior to installation
  • Assuring compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures
  • Organizing and housekeeping of work area and hangar facility
  • Performing related duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
  • Registration or recent graduation from an AME Program
  • Customer focus with a proven ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Manage workloads and work within fixed deadlines
  • Good communication skills and positive attitude
  • Able to obtain Transport Canada security clearances
