Job summary

Inter Pipeline is seeking a Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer based at the Heartland Petrochemical Complex near Fort Saskatchewan, AB. You will oversee rotating equipment across PDH, PP and CUB facilities, driving reliability improvements and capital project support.

The role emphasizes RCFA leadership, MOC changes, and collaboration with operations, maintenance, and vendors to ensure safe, continuous operation and optimized maintenance planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with P.Eng registration (APEGA).
• Extensive experience in rotating equipment within petrochemical/refinery settings.
• Familiarity with RCFA, FMEA and reliability-focused maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and reliable operation of site rotating equipment and auxiliaries.
• Collaborate across operations and maintenance to troubleshoot and improve asset availability.
• Lead RCFA/causal analysis and implement recommendations to prevent recurrence.
