Tacten Industrial Inc. is seeking experienced Level 3 Rope Access Technicians to join their team in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This is a leadership opportunity for skilled IRATA-certified professionals to supervise rope access operations at the Syncrude site. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety mindset, proven leadership skills, and the ability to mentor junior technicians while performing inspection, maintenance, and repair work at height.

What You’ll Need

• Valid IRATA Level 3 Certification (in good standing)
• Standard First Aid Certification
• Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driver’s Abstract
• Other site-specific safety tickets (e.g., Confined Space Entry, H2S Alive, WHMIS, Fall Protection, TDG, Mobile EWP, etc.)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician in industrial environments
• Strong understanding of rope access theory, rigging principles, maneuvers, hauling systems, and advanced rescue techniques
• Demonstrated ability to lead, instruct, and supervise Level 1 and Level 2 technicians
• Strong safety, quality, and client-focus mindset
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in remote, high-risk, and variable conditions
• Problem-solving and time-management skills with attention to detail
