Northview is seeking a Part Time Room Attendant to join our Hotel team in Inuvik, NT. You will maintain guest rooms and public areas to Northview’s cleanliness standards, ensuring a comfortable environment for guests.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a friendly, professional demeanor. Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience is an asset; lifting up to 20 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is an asset.
• Familiarity with standard housekeeping practices, cleaning procedures, and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with common cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling practices is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens (where applicable), and common areas in accordance with company and industry standards
• Prepare guest rooms for arriving guests by making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing surfaces, and replenishing linens and amenities
• Inspect guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and presentation meet established standards prior to guest arrival
• Identify and promptly report maintenance deficiencies, damaged furnishings, and safety hazards
• Respond professionally to guest requests and coordinate with other departments to support timely resolution
• Complete scheduled deep-cleaning and rotation cleaning tasks as assigned
• Maintain housekeeping carts in a clean, organized, and fully stocked condition throughout each shift
• Handle lost and found items in accordance with company policy
• Follow established cleaning procedures, infection control practices, and safe chemical handling guidelines
• Work efficiently to meet established productivity and quality standards while maintaining attention to detail
• Support housekeeping and other hotel operations as required
• Comply with all Northview Health & Safety policies, operating procedures, and applicable legislation

We are looking for a Room Attendant(Part Time) to join our Hotel team in Inuvik, NT. Reporting to the Operations Manager, Hotel, you will be delivering a clean, comfortable, and well-presented environment for guests, this role supports the day-to-day operations of the hotel by maintaining assigned guest rooms and public areas to Northview’s quality and cleanliness standards. Room Attendants perform thorough and efficient housekeeping services, identify maintenance concerns, and help ensure guest rooms and common areas are consistently prepared to provide a positive guest experience.

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform physically demanding work, including repetitive bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs
