Executive Housekeeper

Job Summary

Responsible for cleaning and preparing suite rooms and public areas of the hotel.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Cleans and prepares sleeping rooms for occupancy through proper application of Chartwell procedures.
  2. Performs hospitality suite cleaning procedures.
  3. Stocks and maintains carts with specific products in required quantities to clean assigned suites.
  4. Clean up to 16 one-bedroom suites within an eight-hour shift.
  5. Completes the Room Attendant Daily Report, accurately identifies the status of each assigned suite, and reports any maintenance issues or product shortages.
  6. Maintains security for guests and property by keeping suite doors locked, reporting suspicious activity, properly labeling and turning in lost and found articles, and observing all safety regulations.
  7. Performs additional tasks as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper, such as vacuuming, cleaning public or staff restrooms, washing windows, working in laundry, checking rooms, or training other staff members.
  8. Returns keys and the Room Attendant Daily Report to the Executive Housekeeper and reviews the schedule for the next day.
Necessary Skills and Attributes
  • Adaptability
Formal Education
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Experience

Experience in hotel housekeeping is preferred.

Physical Requirements

While performing these duties, the employee must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, use hands and fingers, lift objects up to 15 pounds, and communicate effectively. Vision abilities required include close vision for computer use.
