Housekeeping Room Attendant

Hotel Victoria is currently looking for a Housekeeping Room Attendant. The Room Attendant performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing guest rooms and bathrooms under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or the Executive Housekeeper. The role requires promoting a positive image of the property to guests, being pleasant, honest, friendly, and responsive to guest requests and problems.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, responsibilities include:

• Preparing rooms for cleaning
• Making beds according to hotel standards
• Replenishing guestroom and bath supplies
• Delivering and retrieving guest loan items
• Performing rotation cleaning duties (e.g., steam cleaning carpets)
• Maintaining work area and equipment
• Attending to guest calls, requests, and complaints
• Achieving and exceeding guest satisfaction
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to move, lift, carry objects up to 25 pounds independently and more with assistance
• Ability to push/pull a housekeeping cart over various surfaces
• Reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and standing for extended periods
• Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
• Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
