Job summary

Dakota Dunes Resort is seeking a Room Attendant to support guest comfort by keeping rooms and public areas spotless and well-maintained. You will work with the Executive Housekeeper and housekeeping team to uphold standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality while addressing guest needs promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent asset.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas, and corridors to hotel standards.
• Complete room assignments efficiently while maintaining high cleanliness and presentation.
• Perform evening service (turndown) as scheduled.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, ensuring exceptional service.
• Inspect rooms to ensure furniture, fixtures, linens, amenities, and equipment are in good condition.
• Report maintenance deficiencies, safety hazards, and repair needs promptly.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Safely use, store, and handle cleaning chemicals per MSDS/SDS and instructions.
• Follow hotel procedures for securing guest rooms and protecting privacy.
• Document and process lost and found items according to policy.
• Communicate with Guest Services, Maintenance, and other departments on status and needs.
• Complete opening and closing duties, reports, and documentation accurately.
• Support hotel security by reporting suspicious activities or safety concerns.
• Participate in emergency procedures and follow health and safety policies.
• Foster a positive team environment with professionalism and integrity.
• Ensure compliance with housekeeping policies, procedures, standards, and brand expectations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations.
